The W.H.O. has declared COVID-19 a pandemic and public health emergency of international concern. Bright Funds Foundation has established the 2020 Coronavirus Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Fund. According to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, supporting Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) are key to limiting the spread of any infection, especially those that are spread by close contact. Increasing access to WASH resources will help limit the spread of coronavirus and other infections. Supporting areas with poor access to medical healthcare means providing access to clean water for handwashing and other vital hygiene practices. This will help limit the spread of all viruses and other infections. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery.
