Edible Schoolyard Nyc
I strongly believe in supporting programs for successful early childhood development and healthy habits, and lobbying for diverse learning materials throughout our education system. At ESYNYC, we address inequities by providing our partner schools in low-income communities with integrated food education, granting health and wellness access primarily to our community members in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and my own neighborhood of Harlem who need it the most. ESYNYC not only provides nutrition programming but also plants the seeds for global awareness. Our kids are kind, open-minded, culturally aware, and are taught the importance of community.
