Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston Inc

The Arts & Business Council is a sponsor of many smaller organizations in the Boston area, from musical groups to individual artists to theatre troupes. They provide assistance with legal applications, business planning, and fundraising for countless artists in the area.

Company One Inc.

Company One produces works with an eye to gender equity, inclusivity, and equal representation on the stage. They are one of the boldest and most creative producers of new theater in the Boston area, and they do it on a shoestring budget.

Guerilla Opera Inc

Guerilla Opera is a small, avant-garde opera company that commissions and produces new chamber operas. Their dedication to finding and cultivating new talent is inspiring, and all too rare for the opera community in general.

Stage Source Inc

StageSource fancies itself the "Google of Boston Theatre," which is in part silly and in part accurate. They are the largest network of artistic professionals in the area. I'll be forever grateful to them for connecting me with my collaborator for the Underlings.

Urbanity Dance Inc

If you're looking for moving and engaging contemporary dance, Urbanity hits the spot every time. They engage with the community to promote education, health, and wellbeing as well. Their initiatives span productions with a professional-level company to classes for individuals with Parkinson's disease.

Institute of Contemporary Art

Oh, the ICA - home of the frustrating, weird, and new. What would we do without their efforts to engage, employ, and promote contemporary artists worldwide?
