About

On April 22nd, India recorded the highest daily rate of infections in the world. India is faced with a deadly second wave of COVID-19. We can help. The 2021 COVID-19 Phase2 - Aid India Fund is comprised of pre-vetted nonprofits based in the United States and India providing emergency response in India. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery. Our fund is crafted in consultation with Intuitive's India team and our local PAN Asian Intuitive Community ERG with a focus on the desperate shortage of oxygen as well as support for acutely vulnerable populations and providing supplies for medical personnel. Given the ever-changing nature of this pandemic, and it's widespread impact, the composition of the nonprofits in this Fund will evolve as the needs change.

HelpAge India is a leading charity platform in India working with and for disadvantaged elderly for more than 4 decades. HelpAge India was the first Indian NGO to be awarded the 2020 UN Population Award. They are India based and focused on protecting and vaccinating the vulnerable elderly population.

Give2Asia has a unique model of working with local charities in the countries in which they work.
Their Covid-19 response in India is focused on:
* Emergency medical supplies to frontline workers including personal protective equipment (PPE), hand sanitizers, soap, and disinfectant sprays
* Nutritious meals including cooked meals and dry rations
* Financial support in the form of unconditional cash transfers to marginalized families

Vibha Inc.

Vibha is an India based charity focused on the needs of underserved children. In addition to their usual focus on education, they are using their network to distribute food and hygiene kits to families at risk and are shipping oxygen concentrators to underserved sites.
